Ron and the Shingle Hut crew came out today to fix a small 'known leak' and another leak of unknown size that I found after they visually inspected the original leak I called them for. They quoted me to fix both without inspecting the second leak and showed up to work on time. This is the second time I have worked with them and they are always on time or communicate any delays honestly and effectively. Anyway the repair of the known leak went smoothly however the unknown leak was bigger than expected and required more significant work. He went on the roof, photographed, and explained what he found. We were very excited that we had enough money from the insurance company to do all the upgrades, including everything that goes on under the shingles. Instead of felt, we got 3 layers of thick hardy, breathable plastic/vinyl. We were able to have more defined ridges (not just a shingle laid over the corners!). I can not say enough great things about Kevin Catchings and the outstanding customer service from his team. I called Shingle Hut early in the morning after finding what appeared to be water stains in my garage. Kevin came to my home within an hour. Ron and his crew just replaced our 16 year old roof and I have to say that it's hard to get excited about "new shingles" and paying for it all out of pocket (insurance didn't cover any of it).
