The insurance process for a roof claim can be confusing and it’s not always an especially pleasant thing to have to go through on top of dealing with a leaky roof, missing shingles, an aging roof or whatever is plaguing you. Shingle Hut Complete Roofing Services wants to put our homeowners at ease during this stressful time. Our certified project managers are not only able to handle any emergency, we are also skilled at talking to your homeowner’s insurance – any and all companies welcome.
Let’s walk through the process together!
You’ve noticed one of the problems above with your roof and have called Shingle Hut out for a complimentary roof inspection. Your project manager will help you determine whether or not you have a claim that might be suitable for insurance.
You have already filed a claim and have enlisted Shingle Hut as your contractor.
We will be with you every step of the way. We will come out for all adjuster’s meetings and inspections. We will also file all the necessary paperwork to get a new roof replacement.
Shingle Hut is here to work on your behalf to get you the best roof possible. Sometimes, scopes of work are left off the initial estimate. When necessary, Shingle Hut will ask insurance companies to include missing line items so that the work on your home is completed correctly. This is known as the supplement process.
Any and all checks an insurance company sends to a homeowner are payable to their contractor. Also payable to contractors is the homeowner’s deductible, whether you have and ACV or and RCV policy.
There are different types of policies, so it’s a good idea to be familiar with yours before calling a new contractor. But, don’t worry, Shingle Hut will walk you through the insurance process no matter where you are in it.
